STEP 1- INSTRUCTIONS/DETAILS FOR THE BASE ENTRY, CROSSOVER FEES DATES & AWARDS:

“EARLY REGISTRATION” FOR BASE ENTRY FEE FROM MONDAY, JANUARY 19, 2026 TO SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2026:

Please choose each class you would like to enter starting Monday, January 19, 2026 on or before Sunday, February 15, 2026. One Class entered is your Base Entry Fee which is $150.00. If you are adding additional classes, this is called a "crossover" which is $125.00 for each class added.

“ON-TIME REGISTRATION” FOR BASE ENTRY FROM MONDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2026 TO WEDNESDAY, MAY 21, 2026:

Please choose each class you would like to enter starting February 16, 2026 on or before Sunday, May 10, 2026. One Class entered is your Base Entry Fee which is $175.00. If you are adding additional classes, this is called a "crossover" which is $125.00 for each class added.

“LATE REGISTRATION” FOR BASE ENTRY & CROSSOVER FEE: After Sunday May 10, 2025 the Base Entry Fee will be $275.00 and each Crossover Entry Fee will stay at $125.00 until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 10:00 PM Eastern Standard Time

DEADLINE NOTE: Online Registration will be CLOSED on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 10:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.

ADDING CLASSES “CROSSOVER” NOTE: Existing Registered Athletes can add a crossover class online for $125.00 at anytime before 10:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on or before Wednesday, May 21, 2025.

SPECIAL LATE ENTRY REGISTRATION & CROSSOVER ADDS AFTER WEDNESDAY, MAY 21, 2025: If you miss the online registration deadline, don’t worry we can still register you! The Base Entry Fee will be $300.00 and each Crossover will be $125.00. CASH/CREDIT CARD/VENMO or ZELLE accepted at the Mandatory Check-in from 4 PM - 7 PM on Friday, May 22, 2026 at the Mandatory Check-in (see 2026 EVENT SCHEDULE) and we will get you registered for this popular & exciting NPC Championship in Michigan!

  • 4 Classes = $550.00 (Base Entry + 3 crossovers) until Sunday, May 10, 2026.

  • 5 Classes = $675.00 (Base Entry + 4 crossovers) until Sunday, May 10, 2026.

  • 6 Classes = $800.00 (Base Entry + 5 crossovers) until Sunday, May 10, 2026.

CROSSOVER NOTE: Adding additional classes for crossovers are encouraged to gain additional stage time and presentation experience.

THE FOLLOWING ARE ALL OF THE CLASSES WITHIN EACH DIVISION: NOTE: Some TRUE NOVICE & NOVICE classes have height and/or weight classes. Most all of the OPEN Classes have up to and including four (4) height and/or weight classes. If we receive more then 10 entries in a TEEN, JUNIOR or MASTERS CLASS we will consider breaking that into two (2) classes.

TEEN, JUNIOR, MASTERS, TRUE NOVICE, NOVICE & OPEN DEFINITIONS :

  • TEEN ELIGIBILITY: Open to all athletes from age 18 to 19 years old only.

  • JUNIOR ELIGIBILITY: Open to athletes from 18-23 years of age.

  • MASTERS ELIGIBILITY: Open to all athletes at or over the age listed in parenthesis after that class listed below. Example: If you’re 45 years old and want to enter the Men’s Masters (45+) you can also crossover into the Men’s Masters (40+) and/or (35+)

  • TRUE NOVICE ELIGIBILITY: You may not have ever competed in an any NPC contest (for true beginners).

  • NOVICE ELIGIBILITY: You have never placed first in any class of any NPC contest.

  • OPEN ELIGIBILITY: Open to all athletes with NO age or experience restrictions. The “OPEN” Class for every DIVISION is the “NATIONAL QUALIFIER”

  • CROSSOVER NOTE: Crossovers are encouraged to gain additional stage time and presentation experience.

In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in the 2026 NPC GRAND RAPIDS CHAMPIONSHIPS (“Event”) promoted by MIKE VRUGGINK PRODUCTIONS, LLC (“Promoter”) and sanctioned by the National Physique Committee of the USA, Inc. (“NPC”), its related events and activities, I, the purchaser, acknowledge, appreciate and agree that: The risk of injury from the activities involved in this Event is significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death, and while particular skills, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist; and, I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE PROMOTER AND/OR THE NPC or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and, I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation of this non refundable entry, if however, I observe any unusual significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the Promoter immediately; and, I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE, INDEMNIFY, AND HOLD HARMLESS THE Promoter and the NPC and each of their officers, officials, agents and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used for the activity (“Releases”), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property associated with my presence at or participation in or in traveling to and from the Event, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

The undersigned further consents and agrees that the undersigned will comply with all rules and regulations of the (“Hotel”) including any rules or regulations prohibiting cooking or food preparation in the hotel rooms. The undersigned further agrees that the undersigned will indemnify and hold harmless the NPC and the Promoter from and against any damages caused by the undersigned to the Hotel or damages to a guest room or rooms occupied or registered to the undersigned. Finally, the undersigned acknowledges that the undersigned’s failure to comply with any rule or regulation of the Hotel or damage to any guest room occupied by or registered to the undersigned may result in disciplinary action against the undersigned including, but not limited to, suspension as a member of the NPC and/or competing in contests sanctioned by the NPC. And in further consideration of permission being granted to me to participate in the Event and its related events. I hereby grant the NPC, Promoter and/or any other NPC-approved video or entertainment organization and all of their agents, successors, licensees and assigns, the right to photograph or otherwise reproduce (whether by film, tape, still photography or otherwise) my voice, appearance and name, and to exhibit, distribute, transmit, and/or otherwise exploit any and all media, including without limitation, by means of still photography, motion pictures, radio, television, television motion pictures, video, printing on digital or any other medium now known or hereafter devised, including with respect also to any merchandising, advertising and/or publicity, and the right to use my name and information about me in any connection with any of the foregoing. The rights granted by me hereunder are granted for the entire universe and shall endure in perpetuity and no further compensation shall be payable to me at any time in connection therewith. Nothing contained herein shall be deemed to obligate the NPC, Promoter, and/or any other NPC-approved video or entertainment organization, to photograph or otherwise reproduce my voice, appearance or name, or to make use of any rights granted herein. I also understand that the aforementioned rights may be reassigned at any time without further consent. I understand that the NPC, the Promoter and/or any NPC-approved video or entertainment organization, are videotaping and photographing the Event in express reliance upon the foregoing, and I represent and agree that I am free to grant the rights granted to the NPC, Promoter and/or any other NPC-approved video or entertainment organization hereunder. I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVE UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY PURCHASING MY ENTRY FEE, AND PURCHASE IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT.
